KEYS gets first LNG bunkering tanker

KEYS Bunkering West Japan Corp, a joint venture established last year by Kyushu Electric Power (40%), NYK Line (40%), Itochu Enex (15%) and Saibu Gas (5%), has taken delivery of the newbuild LNG bunkering vessel KEYS Azalea, which will the first such ship to operate in the Kyushu and Setouchi areas.
The new vessel, built by Mitsubishi Shipbuilding, is equipped with a dual-fuel engine capable of running on LNG and has a cargo capacity of 3,500 m3.
